Adele Announces Concerts + the New Single

February 7, 2011

Adele – who is releasing 21, her sophomore album, stateside on February 22 – is coming to the US for a short tour in small, intimate settings. She announced the tour this afternoon, with pre-sale tickets becoming available Wednesday (02/09) and sales for the general public starting Friday (02/11). With 21 debuting at number 1 in fourteen countries when it was released throughout most of the world (two weeks ago), it is expected to do strong business here as well for the Grammy-winning songstress.

You already know how I feel about her. If not, get on the bus, drink the Kool-Aid, put your name on the t-shirt: Adele is that new hot shit. I’ve heard half the album and every damn one of the songs is better than the next. Get your tickets now; they will sell out quickly. Personally, I’m heading to Nashville to see her at the Ryman. The acoustics are amazing there.
