Mehcad Brooks’ New Role

November 1, 2010

Proving that he’s one of the most hirable young actors in Hollywood (True Blood, Desperate Housewives, The Game) , Mehcad Brooks has landed yet another role. Which is a good thing; he can’t seem to keep a job. Ironic, huh? Fresh off his role in the so-awful-it-only-lasted-two-episodes, My Generation, Brooks has been tapped to play a role in the new USA pilot, Necessary Roughness. He will play the star wide receiver on a professional football team who clashes with the team’s new therapist, Callie Thorne (in the starring role). The series will focus on Thorne’s character’s interactions with the team, the celebrity it brings and a whole cadre of other athletes, musicians and so forth who come across her path.

Of course, with Brooks constantly taking his shirt off, many of us won’t care. We’ll just be there for eye candy. And that’s quite all right.

Does he own shirts? Does he need to?

And for those of you who haven’t seen the Calvin Klein commercial, here it is. It just might change your life.
