With awards season fully under way, a quick list of films you should see prior to Oscar night is in order. Some are still in theaters, some are in limited play and some have already come out on DVD. These are in no particular order, with the exception of the first one on the list: Beasts of the Southern Wild. It was amazing and yet I rarely mention it and have someone respond that they have seen it, outside of my real film buffs. It’s certainly worth checking out on Netflix.
